Anybody indulge in cigar smoking? I know that fine clothing and thick, foul-smelling smoke don't really mix, but I can't help myself.. Let's hear about your favorite cigar smoking experiences.. Or, not.
I smoke them. I smoke them less now than at one point but I do like them. I have to let my clothes air out but so what, my clothes exist for my lifestyle.
I love Cuban cigars especially the Montecristo torpedoes and a variety of romeo et julietas. I always liked the Gloria Cubana and the Padron cigars here.
Just finished my breakfast Romeo & Julieta on a cold but sunny Saturday.
The availability of Cubans is one of the upsides to living in Tokyo.
It was too hot to smoke during the summer, but now that it's getting cold again I'm looking forward to the occasional smoke.
Too hot?
My problem now is too cold! I adapt and smoke in the hot tub on the weekends, but my weeknight ritual of a winding down cigar hibernates for the winter. I could go to a B&M, but cannot stand the foul air and thick smoke.. I have smoked dozens of Cubans (I have a brother in Canada and I find my way there once a year or so), and I can honestly say I don't regret that they are not widely available in the United States. I have developed a stable of very good cigars that appeal to me from a flavor perspective, and that's the most important thing..
I indulge occasionally, but most often in a hot-tub where the smoke is neither indoors nor in proximity to fine clothing.
