A pea coat is very nearly a jacket. It is the same length more or less. Ideal length for a car coat maybe.

No pic today (the sun has gone away), but right now I'm wearing a blue tab collar oxford, a mid grey shetland crewneck, 501s, thick navy socks, and brown, pointy, all leather Moroccan Babouche slippers.

... They aways seem more US to me too in their heavier form.
English brogues are now a lighter & (to my eyes) a lesser shoe. We have refined them a bit too much maybe?

BD Baggies shirt (orange/purple/pink wide stripes -I've discovered a stock of them at a local outlet shop, decent price..), black merino v-neck, brown tapered slacks, polished black Hawkins Doc Martens "Astronauts"; old Barbour Bedale jacket, dogstooth flat cap, green leather gloves, "Cal" navy/yellow wollen scarf.
