A Crook Without Style

When The late Richard Whitney, former head of the New York Stock Exchange, was jailed for financial misdeeds, he wore a bespoke 3-piece suit with his Porcellian Club key on his watch chain. Bernard Madoff stalks the streets of NYC, out on bail, in an ugly windbreaker, a bad haircut and a dumb baseball cap. If we are going to have crooks, at least let them have a little style.

Re: A Crook Without Style

Al Sharpton is a "sharp" dresser lately, having evolved from the hideous track suits he wore as a common street hustler years back.  Just today, while having lunch with the very homely Caroline Kennedy up in Harlem, the good Rev was off the chain in a beautiful navy blue suit with peak lapels, lapeled vest, smart tie and white shirt with French cuffs.  You go, Rev!

Because he was only a bit player in a wider conspiracy. He had to carry the can, otherwise "they" would get him.
