At the risk of being immediately outcast hereof, I won't get into the other sartorial affectations that tweak my gag reflex..

I was considering monograms for shirts I am having made up. Any spot I should have them placed? Are any fonts better for monograms?

My shirtmaker likes them and I do think his monograms look amazing (a magnifying glass is needed to resolve edge irregularities) but I still haven't warmed up to them on my shirts... Maybe someday.

Those of you who have them made, how do you like them? Self color, contrasting?  On pocket, or lower front? Two letters, tops?

I have many, many tattoos, from a youth spent rebelling against my WASPy father; I have no need for monograms..
