Cordings claim that they invented the cover coat. Is it true?
I went to Crombie and a Person of Pakistani heritage salesman who was dressed more like a pimp than like Prince Charles told me that Crombie was the real cover coat. As an evidence, he show me a picture of an old factory that was on the wall !
I am lost.

www.Person of Pakistani heritage.com
I think Pakistani`s have now reclaimed "Person of Pakistani heritage" for themselves-perhaps in the same way that African Americans use the "N" word within their own social circle
On a side note when a former colleague refered to a co worker as a ginger Person of Pakistani heritage ( once a muslim has made the pilgramage to Mecca, they colour their hair and beard orange)- he was not the least put out about being called a Person of Pakistani heritage but hit the roof in respect of the ginger slur-
"Cry God, for Harry, England and St.George"

Cordings are the original.
The best I ever saw, including a bespoke Huntsman, was RTW from Simpsons.
But if one aspires to be a tough guy (I-version or otherwise) should one go with the Crombie then? Or is the Cordings still preferred?
Only that 'Lock Stock' film made the Covert a Crim. style. It never was before.
Go a Crombie Chesterfield for Old School menace. And add a Millwall Brick. Then learn the old cigarette punch.
Aren't they a bit Arfur Daley...?

^ An oddity. Not a covert or an old school Crombie.
Remember 'im as 'Flash 'Arry' from St. T.'s?

Cordings are the original and are made of heavier cloth. Charles Tyrwhitt is offering a decent covert coat, made in the Czech Republic, at a very cheap sale price.
Cordings is made i PORTUGAL !!! Shocking !
I am afraid that the sleeves are too long on my covert coat. What can I do ?
I have rather long arms, the coat was supposed to be a R so now I have a doubt. I didn't notice a big difference with the L version. Hope that they didn't scam me.
Does anyone have a recent cording covert coat ?
