A member of the forum told me that Lock was making its hats in China and Asia.
He presented himself as a hat specialist knowing all about hats.
I found the idea that Lock's hats were made in China rather odd.
The fact that he didn't spell correctly LOCK made me think that this member was not trustworthy.
I contacted the shop of James Lock and asked them where theire hats were made.
There is the reply of Lock :
Our hats and caps are mainly made in the UK.
Both the hats you purchased from us are UK produced.
The hand made caps are made by our own cap maker.
All our hats are produced to our design and stringent quality specifications.
Any items not made in UK are from Europe and none from the Far East.
Thank you

What is your opinion ?
Lock is telling the truth. I posted on another thread that it is well known that Lawrence & Foster make caps and hats for Lock in Yorkshire. If you find Lock too expensive, buy direct at http://www.lawrenceandfoster.co.uk/index.html. Please expose the identity of the member who made the scurrilous accusation.
You can see the thread here.

This member is selling hats so may be that's why he tried to slander Lock.
He presented himself as a hat expert
