Not so old (80s?, 3.5" lapels) but wonderful nevertheless, 2 feather light J. Press cotton sacks, one in 'natural' à la G9 and one in a pale olive shade. Like new.
Thanks to H. Logg for sourcing these.

Hey Moose,
When I saw that on ebay a couple of days ago I considered PMing you about it. Should be nice. I have a Brooks Wasn n Wear in khaki.
Wonder if 'Aspel made it for 'em & how one would tell?
^
hot dang, 1966, that is one nice jacket.
I like the casualness of herringbone.
Yes it's casualness I'm looking for...
I think we are fishing in the same pond Moose - 38s right?

Somebody please purchase this.

It is a Gentry sack suit, in charcoal flannel. If it were 2 inches larger in the chest, I would would have weaseled it into my ownership already. To small for me, but one of the size 37's or 38's should really jump on this.
End transmission.
That herringbone jacket is great; the holy grail.
You`re a lucky guy.
I want one like it!
and that it has sold for over US$100 -- but hey, saves whoever the trouble of rifling through Goodwill or Oxfam or whatever for it. So to that guy, it may be worth it.
'Tis the Ol' Ivy cut over here that makes the diff., Ol' Sport.
The Look is in the cut, not the fabric, for us.
Ahhhhh - Olive Poplin with a Blue/White mini Gingham -
I feel better just for seeing that. Thanks.
Wow! These are nice finds, Moose and 1966! Herringbone Tweed and Olive poplin...
Old Seros and Pendletons... that's what makes my heart sing! Love that gear...

The Logo with the little shoe came in sometime in the 90's. Anybody got a closer date?
