I'm the last person you want to impress!
Sounds good. Navy and yellow are great together.
You look sharper than the picture Daniele, but it's a great image with the Casala chair.
I'm dead straight, but I fucking love Brother Jesmond.
S'true that.
j.
^ Who questioned your preferences Uncle?
One Love.
Great info J.
^ ^ I know, I know...
To me Jesmond is WAY up there. We've emailed & we've chatted on the phone and the guy's insight just SORES beyond the Internet level that we're so used to.
He's too good for us to be honest.
Which is why the fact that he chats to us is so valuable.
- No attitude, no ego, no points to prove, he just talks about what he loves.
A rare Cat.
I'm a fan.

getting ready for a stroll in the nearby woodlands with mrs, son, dogs, the lot:
plain white t
gray/charcoal thick flannell bd
mustard carhartt hoody
old worn chinos, a bit bagier sort
charcoal socks with thick oatmeal color wool ones on top
old, sturdy hiking boots
n 3 b parka
red 'cousteau' wool beanie
brooks bros shades
..necessary for -15°c & inspired by the new new england thread.
when back home, wil drop the hoody for a choc brown thick-ribbed zip cardy and sip some nice stouts and ales.
Cable Knit & Corduroys.
Copy of Firbank's 'Santal'.
Off to Meeting (I think that's the expresion) with my Quaker chums. £10 in my pocket to spend down The Cock & Trumpet after.
School closed, village cut off by snow (This happens every year as we are up in the hills here) so:
Shawl knit over Norwegian sweater over Pendleton over Beefy T. Flannel lined Khakis: LL Bean, old LE Ragg Boot Socks, Bean Gumshoes.
Peacoat & Andover Muffler. Loden Ivy Cap.
Question: Flannel lined Cords - Do they exist?
School's in quasi-lockdown thanks to the snow, and worst of all, I can't get a decent cup of coffee on campus. Damn you, snow.
Although I think running around in topsiders is the worst part of it. So, if anybody wants to donate a pair of duck boots or can tell me where to get them in the UK, feel free...
Saturday - to Norwich record fair to score some Prestige and Blue Note lps. Came home with Riverside and Pacific Jazz.
BB striped broadcloth must-iron bd. Dark and light brown and blue stripes on white. Nice old-fashioned pattern, one of my favourites shirts.
Anderson shetland, fawn.
Grey merino wool flannels, cuffed and pleated. M & S.
AE penny-loafers, burgundy.
BB argyles, blue, grey and fawn.
Topped with LLB warm-up jacket, red.
Forgot gloves and hat so suffered but got treated to Japanese lunch,(very belated birthday outing) by my wife.
Today - huddled up indoors in 501s, t and LLB grey sweat being surprised at how little snow there is here
dark brown suede GBX 'playboy' boots (quick tweak BTW; switch the plasticky EVA-foam footbeds for cork/leather ones and these el cheapo shoes fell a heck of lot more grown-up)
navy hose
dark indigo 'original' fit jeans, age 13/14 (H&M) with single 1/4" turn-up
dark brown belt w. brass buckle
blue slim-fit Brooks OCBD
navy Smedley crewneck
natural-coloured G9
long black/white/grey/navy stripy knitted scarf. Chunky!
Blue candy stripe BB OCBD over an old white T-Shirt with a b&w print, olive Levi needle cords, navy socks, dark brown Sanders Hi-Tops, greenish Shetland crewneck with a navy laurel, Scottish lambswool scarf (fawn with a blue, red and black? check), French pea coat, Harris Tweed driver's cap with a complex pattern and a little dark brown suede inside from a Swedish brand (Wigens), unwashed French crop, no shave today, reddish nose.... only went out for the doctor's and to the pharmacy...
