...maybe this one is close? but I don't think so... it doesn't have the suede and it's a totally different pattern, but I guess the shape might be similar... I give up... it was a special edition for my local hat store, anyway, at least that's what it says on the inside label...

^^^

that's a great shirt.  I used to have one from Brooks.  Is that one white stripe on blue?

edit:  I don't think Brooks has offered that one in an OCBD in a while, but they used to and they should bring it back.

They certainly used to as did J. Press - An Ivy style staple of yore IMO. Not Trad though.

Brownshoe looks more & more lovely with every shot doesn't he? (... It's OK for me to say this as I'm so rugged...)

Re: Ivy League style for today

^ A very JS look, Chris - I like it.

... But I'm far from well today... I can barely lift the beef tea to my lips to be honest...

And so:

Shawl collar
Chambray B.D.
Beefy T.
Bills
Slippers.

My bad ear got slightly better yesterday afternoon and for the first time I realised that both my wife & daughter mutter about me under their breath making the most of my deafness.

To wit:

Cheery, Breezy voice: "Thanks for bringing the wood in!"
Mutter: " It saved us throwing you on the fire."

I record this here just in case something should happen to me one night.

Re: Ivy League style for today

Thanks, fellers.

I do love that shirt, Horace, it's a favorite--vintage Brooks, really soft, with weirdly long tails and a perfect collar.  White stripes on blue.

Honestly, I was thisclose to wearing a white OCBD and black knit tie with that jacket, and my glasses.  Maybe I can get work as a Tom Ripley stand-in (why, oh why, can't I look like Dickie Greenleaf?).

Jim, I think you're cute too.  Get well soon.
