I don't know about the other shoemakers but "Loucostello" are really "Lou Cristillo". Lou Cristillo was Lou Costello's birth name, and the shoes have been made under that name. The rest of Tommy Cheese's story is correct. My father had a pair of spectator shoes made by them.
