I tottally agree with that on shoo trees. I let my shoos air out first, then put in the trees overnight to help them re-shape, but when idle or in storage my shoos never have trees in them. I think much of what we "know" or assume about, well everything, is wrong of unfounded or based on speculation. It's good to simply observe your own experience and draw conclusions. You are probably more right than the "experts".
