Re: Ivy League style for today

Mike and Prof Kelp, both looks sound really good. Mike, would love to see the sweater w/ 501s.

Adam, your look is amazingly put together. Great attention to details and beautiful boots.

Re: Ivy League style for today

^ I can see me wearing that.

In fact I'm in a shirt-under-a-v-neck, 5 pockets and Clarks as well.

- Club collar blue RL oxford
- Brown generic lambswool V neck
- Levi's Vintage 1947 501s
- Brown leather Dessies

*Edit*
Assuming yours are 5-pockets.

White Van Heusen OCBD, navy merino v-neck, blue jeans, grey socks... for outside a tan mac, Weejuns, Wigens Tweed cap, and a plaid lambswool scarf.... I will repeat myself...

A new look for me today:

Charcoal Smedley under a Dark Grey Shawl knit cardi, Fawn 5 pocket Needlecords & Paraboot chukkas.

Well... I like it anyway.

Re: Ivy League style for today

not an Ivy day, sporting the gay sailor look:

striped sailor shirt ("matelot"), Breton sweater (you know with those buttons on the shoulder), stone Levi Sta Press- denim, bootcut, about 10 years old, wide black leather belt, navy socks... Topsiders, peacoat, college scarf for outside... I was also thinking about a beret or a Fisherman's hat, but I thought it was too much....

Re: Ivy League style for today

Paul May tan suede chukkas, Falke fire-engine red socks, C&A mid-wale cord slacks in a vaguely vile shade of taupe, slim-fit white/pale blue checked shirt w. unlined and unruly slightly spread collar (C&A's finest, again), yesterday's navy Smedley crewneck, khaki J. Press sack jacket. Navy LE field jacket in navy for outside.
Kinda octogenerian I know. But I'm half-way there anyhow.
