Bespoke Ivy?

There never seems to be any mention of bespoke clothing on these pages (my apologies if I've missed previous disussions). So what about bespoke in Ivy. I'm assuming it happened back in the day, did Brooks, Press etc etc offer a bespoke service? or maybe a MTM service if not bespoke? Or was all this stuff off the peg. I know American clothiers offer a better range of sizing (eg even and odds sizes for waist, leg length etc) than British clothiers, but I'm betting there were a few people with the money for bespoke into ivy.

Anyone have any knowledge or thoughts about this....I'd love to hear them.

Cheers

A big YES to this.

And then there was The Andover & Chipp and many more names...

The Ivy League Style is only a style. It can be anything... And it certainly was back in the day: From Bespoke to Chainstore Tat.

Links to a couple of NYC tailors, whom I understand can still make an authentic ivy-style suit.
