New Kent Wang products

www.kentwang.com

Kent has just added new cufflinks, pocket squares and linen/cotton shirts.

Kent will make up custom sized squares, just ask for a quote on the specific material.

He quoted me a 2 week wait.

Re: New Kent Wang products

No, so far just two linen and one silk square.

Kent's palitanate purple and gold gives proof to 'power tie'
hype.

I wore it last weekend to a wedding.

I finally switched it for my white linen and they ignored me.

Waiters at the reception kept filling my glass first and eying it.

I had to drive home after all.

Re: New Kent Wang products

I only own squares from Mssrs Wang and Hober and a few vintage ones. Noina Hober's sewing is incredibly fine and the corners neatly beveled. Kent's are more robustly sewn and the corners butted together. Both have very tight, neat rolls.

David adjusts dimensions by fabric. Kent has been making a pretty  standard 12"x12" until people asked about different sizing, which he will do.

Both concerns offer  selections of both classic and unusual materials. David is working on improving his online visuals. Unless you request a swatch, odds are a material may look different than imagined. It's happened to me, but I was still delighted by the end result.

David's packaging is superb and looks like a 19th century shipping box offloaded from a East India merchant ship for a standard fee and requires signing on delivery.

With Wangerchiefs, I found my first ENVELOPE secreted by some gremlin inside a supermarket flyer and it almost got tossed.  In the envelope the square is neatly folded between parchment paper. I've just learned to examine my mail more thoroughly.

Both have very fair pricing starting @ $20-$25 vs some well known names. And both are uncommon enough to give you a  individual look.

Best of all, they're both good online friends I hope to meet someday.
