Trouser cuff hieght?

I am told tall men ( I am 6'2") should add a 1/4" to cuffs.

This question again is for my future Bookster suit.

I do not want the John Wayne turned up levi look!

This whole optiical illusion( or delusion) business of two vs three button, and other details is getting fatiquing.

I am buying  tweed for a very specific outdoor need.

I'm 6'2" and my cuffs range from 1 3/4" on wider trousers to 1 1/2" on more narrow trousers.  I did a survey among English tailors a few years ago and, IIRC, 1 1/2" was the default cuff height.  Why not ask Bookster for their advice?

If you're into the ethnic Napoli style, add a good 1/2 in. to Marc's numbers.

Somehow I don't think a tweed hunting jacket, waistcoat and trousers will lend themselves to  Emiliano Zapata of Milano fashion house of spitonfordtorino or whatever that word is.
