I'm just looking to collect ideas here.
JS has done the original cut Baracuta G9 (The Grenfell 'Bramble') & is now working on the 'Boom Years' Chino...
The Weejun is working on... The Weejun! Amongst other thoughts...
We also have our OCBD project now starting to take shape...
What else?
I've mentioned the Brooks No.1 cut Sack jacket in it's NS, 3/2, 'Purist' form already thinking of Tweeds & Blazers etc. and from there to a suit isn't too much of a jump, but it's a project which is bound to be a slow burn.
So what else?
What do you want?
Sta-Prest in quality fabrics?
The old cut, but in better quality Cottons & Cords?

^yes, good quality sta-prest would be very nice!
Some random jacket / suit template ideas from Horace's archive...

...
An example, but there are other cuts as I recall:

Those are rather jeans-like. Others were far more like trou.
Cord again, but this is the cut I originally had in mind -

Similar to the tan Halrin pair I had from JS. Lost them along the way somewhere...
I do prefer a crumpled cord to a stapress though despite being called a 'middle aged British mod' by the Cub Reporter
sta prest in a wide range of colored Prince of Wales would be my top "want"
a traditional black and white w/either red or dark blue overcheck
the same pattern in brown/tan plaid with a burnt orange overcheck
the same pattern in a burgundy/grey plaid with a sky blue overcheck
that'll do for starters...
I have a tough time finding Ivy sport coats and blazers that I like in hot weather fabrics--linen, madras, poplin, etc.
Dark, muted plaids, navy blazers, POW checks in that great vanished gray/bue fabric, all cut like the oft-cited chambray number worn by JC in the opening of Rosemary's Baby. No padding, minimal lining, very "slacky," but sharp.
Yup, I'm with you there.
Welcome, Klook!
a grey suit with patch pockets/centre vent and a couple of other details.
a seersucker juacket
a navy blazer
all with a 34 chest. can't find that anywhere. depressing.
Adam, for navy blazers try Brooks Brothers boys' sizes. Ebay is always worth a look...

£30 quid in the fred perry sample sale.
good 'n' fitted, patch pockets, flaps, buttons are rank but that's easily changed.
neat stuff.
