- Perhaps some choice sneakers/trainers originating in the 1970s-'80s. The really simple ones: Puma Suedes, Incontinence pants Stan Smiths...

The pinned collar seems to really get up the noses of those unfamiliar with traditional American dress. It's not something I'd wear every day, but to a wedding or such (particularly with a three piece suit) I think it's a wonderful look.
