^ Well nice.

I'm in jeans and cashmere again, crew on crew style. White Beefy T and heathered grey Uniqlo cashmere. Reversible tan/brown G9, 1947 501s, brown Sanders PB chukkas. Hangover by Stolichnaya. Outgrown 8/4/2 that's starting to curl.

Ive gotten so used to the black silk knits that I might never go back. Practically everything I own co-ordinates with a black tie anyhow.

Re: Ivy League style for today

All of the vintage sacks from Brooks I own have that roll. As you say, its makes for such a better looking lapel. Shame they dont make them that way anymore. But truth be told the lapel roll is just one of many things wrong with Brooks offering these days.

A 'tipped' lapel was an old term for this. Not sure how common the term is/was. A very nice look anyway.

Moose - I like the whale tie.  As those across the pond might say "spout on"
