Re: Ebay items we didn't win

I missed out on a 60's Baracuta windcheater the other night in a lovely stone colour. Sorry, but I tried and failed to cop the numerous photos from the auction and post them here. The UK based seller wrongly described it as a "Harrington" but pedants like ourselves know different! Jacket was unlined (including collar) and cuffs were button rather than knitted. To be honest it wasn't even in my size AND had an ancient circular glue(?) stain on the breast from a removed patch but I still felt gutted to have been sniped on it at the last minute! What the hell is wrong with me?! Answers on a postcard, please gentlemen. smile

Re: Ebay items we didn't win

there was some talk a while back about those yellow raincoats and that Take Ivy pic - saw this yellow London Fog raincoat the other day: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=250310008066
which looks a bit nicer than the rubbery ones - appears to be a women's though, from the direction of the fastening? didn't bid so not really an ebay miss, and it's still up there...

While we're on the subject, I've seen at least one joker wanting $30.00 postage to ship over a repp tie.  I mean, come on!

Re: Ebay items we didn't win

What has happened to the Trickers factory shop supply. It seems to have dried up recently.

I would want a leather sole for £150 though and cordovan for not much more.

I now have a saved search on J Press but nothing crops up. If it does it is too small.

As long as you've got the legs for it...

Otter : Take it easy, I'm pre-law.
Boon : I thought you were pre-med.
Otter : What's the difference?

Faggy...  too faggy for England, where Madras shorts are just about the limit...
