Even for Ask Alex this takes some beating - http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/forum/showthread.php?t=93183. Just trolling?

Contrary to lies of FNB and Woofboxer, I (and most of the other "Buff Bastards") have been banned from posting on this forum. There are only a few posters left so don't waste your time on here. This forum is dead and nobody cares.

More freeloading from the "proprietor" - http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/forum/showthread.php?t=91393

The thread, including the intervention of the sponsor, typifies everything that is wrong about Ask Alex About Cruiser.

lol, Cruiser with a curiously practical piece of advice, fight the problem at the source by, er, sourcing some of this:

I bet their doorbells chime the theme from Masterpiece Theater- except for Cruiser, who uses Fanfare for the Common Man.

Doorbell? At the top of the stairs at Mom's?

I chanced ( Igent speak for stumbled onto) upon a hilarious visual reply. Alas, my troglodyte computer skills keep me from posting it. Anyone who trusts  me with an email could post it.

Here's Cruiser on the appropriate fabric for a Dinner Jacket:

^ Great anecdote. In situations like those you must suppress the iGent instinct and go with the flow. Working class chicks can handle their booze and wanna have fun.

Re: New Improved Inane Post of the Day Thread (50% More Snark)

First, this seems like good a place as any to thank everyone. Being exiled into the wilderness by sheik ibn  kabbatz and tribe only to find this oasis while they march on Fort Zinderneuf was a blessing.

Unless I have a happy cosmic collission with 6 random numbers, I will probably never personaly possess
the quantity, or the quality of dress shown here.

This does not exclude me from enjoying it, like seeing a loaned art collection from L'Hermitage.
And I certainly will have my moments, if now only represented in a few pocketsquares, ties and cufflinks.

It is precisely because of my situation, I am seeking the same precision in my future acquisitions.
No, I won't be a nightmare demanding my buttons sewn with the holes aligned to face Mecca.
but I will set parameters I've learned and then let the people do their job.

And by God, someday I just might pull over to a  Rolls Royce with a double tyre blowout from some misadventure, offer help and himself  Charles sees my one  nice ensemble and gives a knowing nod of values.

Either that, or the limo ran over a Harley Davidson.

And a new Moderator Candidate at Ask Alex About Cruiser enters the scene:

Should shirt collars be worn INSIDE or OUTSIDE the sweater?
