In the Pink

I have one pocketsquare from Kent Wang in pink with red edge.

My latest gastly driver's license photo ( is there any other) was taken in a pink shirt, which, coupled
to my fair complexion and red hair has cooled any future interest to the point I avoid pink lemonade and grapefruit.

And yet the IGents persist with caveats it can be fun, women are somehow drawn to it and if Emiliano Zapata Shirtiers will give a forum discount ( 4 shoe polishing rags for the price of 3) and a few freebies to the man, call it 'Dusty Rose' you really can wear it to a biker's charity run with Boozer to collect toys for special needs children.

And now I see Magenta showing up. Magenta entered my vocabulary in Santa Cruz California, participating in my first midnight showing of The Rocky Horror Picture Show with a bunch of Punk Rockers also newly arrived from los Angeles.

Magenta seems to be the line in the sandbox even IGENTS won't cross.

And the classic Pink Brooks Brothers Oxford cloth Button-down remains a Yummy-Mummy magnet at my daughter's school.

Re: In the Pink

WW2 RAF recon Spitfires were painted pink, opticaly the most difficult colour to make out during dawn and dusk hours. I suppose under artificial light it looks like any other tuxedo or pair of bluejeans.
