I love some of the Jazz boards & chat away very happily there. The Jazz cats are very different to the clothing people. Much more open & interesting.

'Street' always said that equally many loved it & wanted more. Fighting on both sides produces this kind of fall out.

Trad bashing made the Trads feel like martyrs & stregthened them. Also it made the Anti-Trads feel righteous too - They were the smart ones. That 'hoho' (to quote David Niven) Buckley always saw himself as the last of an embattled breed - Reproducing that in cyber space was an obvious trick, IMO, to sell Trad.

Your average episode of Tom & Jerry has more substance than any of this.

And yet here we are talking about all this & not Tom & Jerry.
