Rattin' out the Rat Pack

Funny how much naff clothing gets the 'Pack' tag on Ebay.  I'm a Sinatra fan - no doubts there: the voice, the suits, the hat tilted at a rakish angle...  Okay.
Collectively, though, can anyone truly still find anything good to say about them?  In fact, weren't they 'The Clan'?  I'm sure the 'Rat Pack' was more of a Bogart/Bacall/Niven/Garland drinking club...
But all those links to crime, to the monstrous Kennedy family, those twattish self-indulgent movies, Sammy Davis looking like a complete schmuck in that white get-up...  'Jivy Ivy'?  Shit, man!

And can someone please come up with a decent snap of Frank wearing a G9?

Rightiright!

It's a tricky thing with Khakis... but ole blue eye could pull that trick very well, I think.

I always wear a navy G9 with khakis or with light coloured sta-press trousers...

Re: Rattin' out the Rat Pack

Partly to do with the curse of 'retro', I'd say.  Nottingham must have a dozen or more of these places, mostly flogging 70s tat, and the Ebayers have latched onto it in a big way.  'Firetrap' are Ivy League, according to one: to be seen on the arse-end of every scrubber in our local Co-Op.  Very few sellers on Ebay really seem to know their business: 'Pop Gems' is always worth a dekko, though.  Ms. Ettinger is no slouch when it comes to interesting deadstock.
