JP comes through again: http://theselvedgeyard.wordpress.com/2009/03/17/the-mad-men-of-modern-design/
As per its tag-line, you can expect: the mad men of modern design. Great stuff.
I love the group photo
Modernist furniture is def tops, but one needs to be careful to not have a house that looks like a DWR catalog
is it totally trite to say that I lust after the Eames Lounge and Ottoman? I think it is such a good looking chair.

Not trite at all. Keep your pieces authentic and well mixed...or it will end up looking like DWR as Get Smart correctly stated.

If done right, I figure a timeless interior can be created from vintage pieces only. Except for the appliances. It's the same with clothes really, it takes skills and hard work to pull it off but it can be done.
My furniture is like my clothes; some prime vintage pieces mixed in with some new stuff. Ikea is like Uniqlo in that respect: disposable stuff that can have 'the look'.
Frankly, that was what I was thinking about...

That's an incredible pic.
Anyone here actually have one of those animal skin rugs? I mean, how the hell do you keep from tripping over the damned head all of the time? One of those in my house would be covered in accidentally sloshed gin in no time flat.
