Familiarity breeds contempt? Forwards, backwards, sideways...

Wearing today, with great contentment, an Andy Warhol style Made in the good old US of A white Brooks button-down.  Too commonplace?  I own shirts that are more rarified, certainly (if rarified is the exact word I'm looking for): Sero, Troy Guild, Lion of Troy, Neil Martin; but none of these are especially easy to come by now.
If it wasn't for that dratted polo player and the usual outsourcing, I might wear Lauren again.

There:  I've said it.

Now, perhaps, the search begins in the charity shops for that first item: 100 per cent cotton, made in the USA, no emblem.  Ditto with Brooks.  Better an American made Brooks than a Turkish Baggie.  Or a Chinese Haggar.

We should never be afraid to reevaluate.

Just the fact that the Brooks classic is now a commonplace to us says a lot about us & how far we've come.

I very much like that description of Jeff Garrett's style as 'kicked back'.  Not a bad way to go IMO.
