Favorite pair are Brooks Brothers, look like mother of pearl buttons.  I am not a fan of whimsical links and like to keep mine very simple.

I don't wear cufflinks often but my nicest pair are oval art deco enamel ones, navy blue with a deep red zig-zag 'lightning' (with gold edges) going across. The colour tones are dark, so from a distance they look quite plain. I really like art deco, in cufflinks and elsewhere.

Hey FNB. I have a number of shirts with that mitred cuff. Someone told me that it avoids the problem of fraying your cuffs while working at your desk. I just happen to like them.

Shirt was by Ede & Ravenscroft at Chancery Lane, London. With a white contrast collar.

My present humble collection ( four sets ) favourite is a set of gold and blue Amita from Japan.
I grew up in the shadow of a nasty parental divorce involving a japanese third party. I had a love/hatred of things japanese until my father's passing.

I won these on EBAY, still tied into their wooden box. They are chained, the common motiff of Mount Fuji, huts and pine trees.I first wore them to a  local production of The Mikado by Gilbert and Sullivan. Nobody in my family understands G & S.

I have cufflinks now associated with a pleasing memory, unlike the oppressive objects brought back by father.

My favorites are Sir Winston Churchills Flem spoon.'s Elsa Peretti "Bean" cufflinks, which can be seen here:

They have a barbell design and have a nice heft to them.

I also like the Dunhill Headlamps, which I have in deep blue and in emerald green.

The favorite cufflinks I do not own could be some Mikimoto cufflinks with simply a pearl holding the sleeve (they are 4,000 Euros here in Paris, so it will be a while).  I also like the Arnys precious cufflinks, which are similar to the Villa Milano:

I was given a pair of dunhill provenance ferrari gto cufflinks a couple years ago.  By far my favorite, i love them and the story behind how i got them was fun and nostalgic as well.  here is a link to see them.  they are made from the body of an actual 1962 ferrari gto.
