in case you missed it -- Nicklaus v. Palmer
This one has been up for a while now so sorry to those who've already seen. Great pics of Palmer and Nicklaus (or terrible pics for those of you who hate golfing style).

On a side note, I think someone should do a thread on the crooners after they all turned into Republicans and wore bright pink and yellow sweaters. As totally out of touch as those guys were at that point, I kind of like how they were past caring about anything, rather care-free, which isn't always a bad thing.

Before logos - but after plus fours and tweed. Nicklaus wore some dreadful stuff towards the end of his career as fashions changed.
Unfortunately cabbie chic is label-rich. The Lyle & Scott logo or the Pringle one feature prominently.
Gary Player was good too. Golf's answer to Goth and Johnny Cash - the other man in the black.
