I like my tie loosened a little. Makes me feel like Frank Sinatra (without 'The Clan'). Well, not quite.

I tell you, if John Cheever could look the way he did, with one collar in and one out, I can keep that top button undone.
Or are the rest of you 'buttoned up button-down' types?

Top button usually undone except for job interviews and funerals.
Borne more out of necessity than anything else, I've got so used to it. It is a less stuffy look, perhaps analogous to wearing jackets unbuttoned.

To answer the question though, I wear my kit in various different ways - Which I think is a strength of the stuff.
I've had two 'Smart' days just now & so tomorow I shall hang around in yesterday's shirt & some jeans.
The key thing is that you wear your clothes, not that they wear you.
Sometimes I tuck my pocket flaps in. You?
