There is a lot to be said for closed forums. I'm a member of one that sprung off some open place, and it's like a pub really. "The world" isn't watching. Nice.

This thread has completely shot its bolt IMO. The names - and 'faces' - already know who they are and are probably in the pub, getting measured for a new suit or leafing through the Compact Disc Club catalogue, not faffing about on-line.
