Well, I'm a fan D&F. I actually bought a pair the other day. Now I know that they are the "1949's" then. Must say i bought them as not only did i like the look of them but they were also pretty cheap. £14.99 in good ol' TK Maxx. They're very comfortable but the the uppers are very harsh on one's socks - ripping big holes in the heel during the course of one day. But could that just be my funny feet?
