The Name of the Game

There are a lot of strong opinions on the forum.  There's plenty of argy-bargy as a consequence.  But I hope no one feels unwelcome or slighted.  That's not the idea.

Some of our American friends puzzle over our ways and we over theirs.  There are guys of all ages on the forum, ranging from original mods to guys not long out of school.  We all get our say.

Oh, all right, some more than others.

P.S. That probably came across badly. I need to concentrate on that article so won't be posting that much for a few months at least, I think  smile

I'd love Alex to also write about Ivy in Holland like Hard Bop wrote about Ivy in Germany.

A.'s views on London Ivy will be of great interest I know, but what about his own country's story?

Maybe 1966 could also work on this too.

There were GIs in Holland and so there will have been Jazz & Ivy - That's the pattern that we've seen all over the rest of the world post WWII.
