I've got one old, one newer. No contest.
I wonder if the revival of the similarly once respected Anderson Little is as sad. There's an interesting thread over at Ask Andy land about their new line of blazers where the actual corporate Anderson Little figure responds: http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/forum/showthread.php?t=88632 It's a 12 (!?) page thread so I can't be bothered to read the whole thing but I guess if you want a non-3/2, non-sack and non-wool blazer for under two bills (aka you don't really care about ivy), it may be the jacket for you? There's an interesting contrast in the bits I did read b/w ivy as we understand it (i.e. a style) and ivy as the company guy understands it (going to fancy schools, spending time in Nantucket).
The pic of the guy on the site would suggest that this is a bit of a heart-breaker.

Those jeans are terrible aren't they?
I also have to admit that the not-tucking in shirt thing w/ blazers / suits never really made any sense to me at all. It's not rebellious; it's stupid.
I think he is wearing Meatloaf's jeans Mister raincoat...
Lovely Troys though, D&F - Many thanks.
My Holy Grail:
An Oxford cloth OCBD flap pocket Troy with the perfect blue and the perfect wine alternating needle thin stripes on white. It was in the window of J. Simons when Chet Baker died and John put up that black framed photo of him in centre stage surrounded by Walkovers and all the rest.
Never seen it before or since.
Had the shop been open when I saw it I would have shumbled in.
Wonder where that one is now?
Well... That's sort of killed the conversation a bit
I always thought there was a undercurrent of fruitiness bubbling just below the surface of this forum...
Motherfucker seems common to each.
