I am the humunclus of William Burroughs. Either that, or the gin in the gin-soaked boy...
No, I missed what you deleted. I was quoting The Who's 'A Quick One While He's Away.'
A nod to Ace Face, who's dropping pure gold today--Who, Ed Wood Jr., and Claxton. Great stuff! Keep it up.
Anyway, onto the boring truth--late twenties. Finished school about a month ago. Have spent my evenings and weekends ruining the minds of young things for too long and will soon enter in a career much despised on the other side of this forum. Canadian issue.
Name is Robert. I'm 28, live in Louisville, Kentucky home of the Derby, and liquor stores with the best selection of bourbon known to man. (I drink Jim Beam more often than not for what it's worth). Grew up about fifteen minutes south of Jovan country in Macintosh, Florida. Raised on steady diet of LL Bean (Mom) and Dickies (Dad). Got into Metal, Jazz, Hardcore, Blues, Soul, Ska etc. between the ages of 12 and 16. Before that it was all Beatles all the time. Took a degree in Philosophy at the University of Florida. Then promptly followed the same path of everyone with useless vanity degrees, went into retail. Met my best friend while investigating internal and organized external retail theft. We went into business for ourselves and never had to pass another drug test. Favorite author is William S. Burroughs. Favorite movie director is Andrei Tarkovsky. You can find me on a good day either looking like a skin influenced American or Richie Cunningham from Happy Days. Still "sing" in a metal band. Still play jazz piano when I get the chance. Still practice a martial art. One kid and a wife I met in a tattoo shop(Traddest or is it Tradliest place to meet future spouse). My forum name is a nod to Fritz Lang's underrated Noir masterpiece. Oh yeah I have never had another name on any board.(I have been asked if I was someone else numerous times.)
Patrick. I'm intrigued, please allow us the smallest of peaks into your private life. What is it you do for a living? Some form of teaching/lecturing is it? I can understand if you wish to remain an enigma, but do toss us a morsal...

Im the Devil..also known as an outsourcing consultant. Born and raised in Queens NY from Sicilian and German stock. Migrated to CT upon meeting and marrying an old school New England Scottish lass. You can generally find me drinking heavily on the metro-north out of Grand Central. Currently as close as I have ever come to punching a 60 year old woman in the face because she WONT SHUT THE FUCK UP on her cell phone while I am trying to quietly enjoy my black and white cookie and Coors banquet beer.
^^ I don't even live in a place where public transportation is a must but I understand this sentiment well.
Young for a while more. West Coast. Musician.
