Stop Thief !!!!

I don't want to worry anybody, but the following items have gone missing only to turn up elsewhere:

Charlie's Pink Sweater.
A quantity of Troy Button-downs.
Information relating to Corbin and items 'Made in the USA'.
A pair of Quoddy Trail Mocs.

Other things may be missing too. Please check your threads.
Could everybody have a good look around to find out who it is who creeps around the internet at night pinching other people's things and passing them off as their own?

Together we can crack down on internet crime!

The only clue we have is that he (she?) leaves a distinctive Stinky trail behind him (her?).

Join me and say NO to the Trad pick-pocket. More to the point, let's all try to catch the evil Fagin that lurks behind him (her?).

Yours in the quest for a better world,

Miles.

Re: Stop Thief !!!!

All else could be overlooked, but the enormity of the pink sweater and the Quoddy mocs are beyond the pale.

This miscreant must be apprehended!

Naming & shaming is the only way.

Otherwise when will he (she?) ever learn?

Let's do some Good out there today people -

Re: Stop Thief !!!!

Miles old dog,,

Thank you for bringing this matter to light.  In fact, this person is well known to take things from other areas of his own house and then take full credit for them as his own.   All for his own reputed benefit.  When questioned, he sometimes claims that the items belonged to his family, particularly his father, for years.

I undertand that some experts would say that an over deveoped ego may be involved.

Of course,, I have been accused of borrowing a thing or two also, eh.

Cheers,
Trip

Re: Stop Thief !!!!

Before this afternoon I might have agreed with you Trip, however I have just received a PM from a poster here who also happens to be a psychiatrist which would seem to alter everything -

Sadly we are not dealing with a case of an overdeveloped anything here, rather it is a case of tragic underdevelopment.

We are all men here.
I need not say more.

And so to the Trad-Thief I now say: Take what you need, you poor wretch. May it help to compensate you for the cruel trick that nature has played upon you.

All I ask is that you be honest.

Merely admit that took these things to ease your lonely pain.

We would all understand.

I'm sorry I ever raised the subject.

Miles.

PS I see your own borrowings as entirely different, Trip.
To borrow is not to steal. I think you were just trying to understand the Trad-Thief better by merely trying on his clothes for a while.
We need more understanding in this life.
I salute you.

From Ben Franklin to Mark Twain America has been replete with those who've reinvented themselves.  Stinky is no exception.  We extend the olive branch, and he shakes his fist at us...

Re: Stop Thief !!!!

I shall have to think, but I'm sure I can help this young man in some way...
Bring him out of himself.
Help him enjoy life.
That sort of thing.

Sometimes his posts have a flavour of sadness clinging to them... a bitter tang.

I will not abandon a brother in need, though.

All we need is a little more understanding.

Re: Stop Thief !!!!

I've trawled the net & have found many websites offering extensions & prosthetic items to help Stinky with his 'issue'.
I just don't want to get banned for posting them here.
I hate it when that happens.

PM me & I'll pass them on.

It's no different to wearing false teeth.

This out-dated stigma must die.

Miles.

Re: Stop Thief !!!!

Not a thing I want to argue  - but where does the field of 'clothing' end and the world of intimate prosthetic extensions start?
Both have an element of 'cladding'.

I'm only here to learn.

Re: Stop Thief !!!!

I can't believe nearly 300 people have read all about Stinky's problem.
Please - Give the man some space.

Re: Stop Thief !!!!

I have just bought an item called 'The Donkey Derby' online for Stinky...
It's being DHL'd to him as we speak via his chosen website.

Let's see if it improves his posts.

I'm not looking for thanks here  -

I just want him to know that I'm thinking of him.

Miles.

Re: Stop Thief !!!!

I think you fellows are starting to get genuinely mean which I, for one, think is really unwarranted about the person it seems we are discussing.

Just my two cents.

I think that's fair.

It is just me, btw.

I just need to work through my problems...

Re: Stop Thief !!!!

I'm contrite...  but I have to say that DHL have just informed that they have delivered - Howzat for service?

So do keep an eye on Stinky's posts - Any increase in confidence is all down to me folks -

Do I ever do anything but good?

Re: Stop Thief !!!!

I don't complain.

I'm not a complainer.

I buy a guy a genital 'hat' to cheer him up and all I get is odium  -

"Why d'you buy him the Donkey Derby,  why didn't you spring for the Kentucky Derby?" etc etc etc -

If this keeps up the day will come when I stop helping people.

Did you buy a brother an intimate prosthetic extension?

No?

Well shhhhhhh then.

I'm a nice guy, but I can be pushed.

M.
