Ivy Grooming?
Clean Cut? Squared off, minimal sideburns?
... And yet despite the shave & the haircut the un- ironed shirt also crops up...
This could be a nice paradox to play with?
The man inside is washed, shaved, groomed, brushed, combed, etc.
But he plays around with his clothes if he so chooses.
What's going on?

Interesting, interesting. I like a close shave and won't go a fortnight without getting my hair cut. Part of my USAAF Colonel look, y'know. All my clothing is ironed, but then allowed to develop natural crumpling without additional fuss. Dirt anywhere I dislike, but the odd frayed collar or pulled thread on a cashmere jumper (damn that cat) troubles me very little.
