Re: Ivy League style for today

We're getting to the stage on here where very basic Ivy rules are being broken, and when that form of dilution occurs it puts the entire style in danger.  There is a world of difference between an American made Jack Purcell and the European Incontinence pants, sported by English Girls Ball games hooligans from Anfield to Ibrox.  Follow that line of reasoning and you might as well give Paolo Hewitt a big pat on the head.

Even the JP was more of a surfer style that crossed over, but plain tennis shoes with Levis and a Madras shirt, yes, and look at those horrors sported by the boat crew in 'Take Ivy'...

The so-called 'trainer' is a vile object any place at any time.  I've never been too certain what their wearers are supposed to be 'training' for, unless it's a quick jog to the nearest pub for pints of gassy lager.

It's you Alex. You're the one moving it forward - by not buying anything vintage.
I could be wrong though wink
