side-tabbed trousers

I love side tabbed trousers and I do not like belts very much.  I am always looking for side tab trousers but I can never find them.  I was wondering if anyone knows of any companies that make OTR trousers with side tabs and where I could get them.  Thank you for any suggestions.

Yeah, I like suspenders but I do not wear a jacket much at work and I wanted some trousers for work that do not use a belt.  I love the look of side tabs, seems like I may be out of luck.

Re: side-tabbed trousers

Paul Stuart has stocked them. I have Oxxford gray flannels with side tabs from Bergdorf and several Purple Label flannels (EBay) with this feature.

Re: side-tabbed trousers

The post about wearing suspenders caught my eye.  Is it "appropriate" to wear dress pants with suspenders when wearing a dress shirt, but not wearng a suit or a sports coat?

Re: side-tabbed trousers

I disagree - I have side straps on all my trousers and they do an excellent job of holding them up. Perhaps, I'm just lucky in terms of fit, but you should definitely give them a go and see for yourself

Re: side-tabbed trousers

My trousers from Ercole have this rubber thingee sewn along the inside of the waist designed to grab hold of my shirt and remain that much more secured on my waist.

Re: side-tabbed trousers

Ralph Lauren has a few side-tabs each season, but I'm not sure how functional they are.  I just received a pair of cords from www.smartturnout.com, which have tunnel elastic waistband.  (As an aside, the smarttturnout cords are almost certainly from the same factory that makes for Cordings, although the colour choices are rather more limited.)

Re: side-tabbed trousers

The Pakemans have belt loops, but otherwise the construction does look the same.  (Pakeman also seems to have single pleats, which can be quite nice.)
