^ Yes. Think you're right, there. Need to dig out the DVD and give it a look.

Black plain Marks & Spencer polo shirt buttoned up, (no daft badges, logos, embroidered animals and certainly no fuckin' popping!) under a cord jacket.
Oh, by the way, polo shirts tucked in or hanging out? Is it B.D's in, polos out?

Ponyboy, you are a wonder. Such wisdom and insight in one so young. You are breath of fresh air, and to think you are only 18. It's unbelievable!

Re: The popped collar

I tuck every shirt in to every kind of pants. Polo, Madras, t-shirts whatever. It's what puts me apart from the knobs in the jeans and polo untucked uniform. Well that and my pants hem hovers somewhere near my ankle.  On the rare occasions I wear shorts I don't tuck my shirt in.

Re: The popped collar

Yeah, I rarely wear them. And I often feel as if I should have a pack of  cigs in my shirt sleeve when I do. Just one of my personal style things I guess. I am only 5'8" and I have a short torso. Nearly any shirt untucked on me ventures into mini skirt territory.

Re: The popped collar

My collar is up I'd say half the time...sometimes deliberate, sometimes it;s because I put the shirt on and it comes up that way and I just leave it.

Favorite brands are Lacoste, Brooks, RL.  Have noticed lots of V.V. in New England as well recently, with a whale logo that reminds me of the recently closed Allen Collins store in West Hartford.

Re: The popped collar

fred perry has began to be affordable over here, and fits me a lot better than lacoste. lacoste stuff is getting borderline-overdone over here anyway... especially the stupid shoes with gigantic logoes and pointless madras trim on them. oh, and i remember those ones with "lacoste" in huge letters...as i remember bought one thinking i had got a great deal, and only noticed the inside of the collar days later. that one went right back...
