Check out the Drapers and Carnet books (Italian merchants), sometimes they contain great tweed-like cloths that are softer, lighter, and less scratchy than traditional tweeds, though I would never call them "Summer tweeds".

breanish tweeds are also much lighter than I expected. Very ice designs as well.
