^ Thank-you for sharing all those , Mr. Catalina.
Great stuff!

My only problem is with the zippers.
I'll try and snap the 'Peters': particularly the lining with its excellent flying ducks.
^ That would be great, OTP!

That`s very interesting to know.
Thank you, Mr. Catalina.
You can see something of a paisley-ish type lining in the pic linked above and below:

It actually looks a little similar to the gold patterned lining in your own Derby jacket pictured on the left. The Derby does seem to have a slouchy McQueen-ish vibe to it, eh? I suppose we can`t be sure what he`s wearing. I suppose McQueen`s jacket in the pic might also have a button at the top, rather than a press stud.
I still want and need to see a Peters. It`d be great if One Trick Pony could post one.
Thank you once again, Mr. Catalina.

Being a complete cretin when it comes to computers, J (and doubtless many other things to boot), I'll have to ask my daughter to do the business. Which means pinning her down, as she's in the middle of stripping doors in her new house.
As i say, it would be great, One Trick Pony...
In your own time, in your own time!

Hey guy, I saw the post on the Derby Jackets--well I grew up in San Francisco..and we always wore the derby jackets--i had a UPS brown, and a few of the
dark blue. I would like to know more about the Catlina Jackets...I think the LA cholos back in the 70's and 80's wore em.....in the Bay area, if you were a dude and did not wear a derby you were viewed as a sissy----the derby was the best tuff guys jacket ever made...i think the company went overseas in the mid 80's and the jackets went down down hill--cheaper material, plastic zipper etc.
UM, dows catlina still make the derby style jackets... when I worked as a tow truck driver in the early 1990's, the company had bought a whole bunch of derbys..so all of us drivers wore the blue ones...until slowly the company changed into dickies...I hate dickies
I still wear my Ben Davis pants, and my derby...I have a few I collect...a UPS brown, a blue, and a dark black...
Who invented the Derby---wear was Catalina made at......did a lot of dudes wear the catlina jackets back then....
You have any derbys or just Catalinas?

I'm not even sure that the Anna jacket has been verified as a Belstaff, as that's what I'm willing to bet it is.
No, I don't think anything will 'go' with this colour. Maybe chinos that are the colour of milk chocolate? Magenta shorts? Flamingo pink boat shoes? Dunno.
If you strayed off piste in the Alps - or maybe got stranded in the Andes, or were to be blown off course in mid-Atlantic then I guess this colour jacket would be a boon since search parties could pick you out from some distance away in the rescue 'copter.
I'd go with pale neutral coloured items. It's an item with 'Zing' so Stone Khakis & a Pale Blue Polo ?
