I wish this were on a Friday, if I could have gotten in I would have gone down to see this.

Was spending a bit of time studying in my old alma mater's library and was killing time with a Cheever short story book I hadn't encountered (for whatever reason none of the stories in it seem to have made it into the orange "Stories" book) called "The Way Some People Live."  I don't know why none of them was considered worthy of the "Stories" anthology.

There's a great pic in Susan Cheever's Home Before Dark of her father playing backgammon on the floor wearing a very nice Shetland.
