Hah! That is actually a really good zinger, reminiscent of Gore Vidal. Makes a person wonder who noticed the irony of it or even the wit.
I just took a wee tour of Styleforum. If Andyland is a Montessori elementary school, then Styleforum is a public middle school, filled with sharp-tongued, insecure 13 year old girls. Yet in between the internet lingo, twee Vox-isms, and idiotic image spam I detected a few pieces of reasonable advice (don't fuss with your pocket square, don't threaten and abuse Gilt customer service); they have therefore exceeded Ask Andy in volume of useful information.
Less you think I've gone soft: a collection of Styleforum homunculi -

Mad Men 2010: the Chair-Sniffer Years.
That bike shot is very weird. The pose is just so 'Easy Rider' magazine: some prissy girl uncomfortably perched upon a bike. The thing has a belt drive on the opposite side...if there's that much road grime (there's not) maybe just stand normally.
Just does not look like an owner that feels free to sprawl out on his machine, but someone scared of getting his own fingerprints on it. Especially if this is a timer photo, just plop down. I have to snicker at the forward highway pegs on a Sportster.
I thought maybe this pose was to prevent trouser wrinkling, but then why is he hugging himself with the crossed arms??

Aaaaaaaaaand the crybaby who whined about Allen Edmonds breaking heap many treaty with iGent people finally got his uggers little weird chukka/blucher things. Our friend Camorristi points out that AE is now making a much nicer-looking version of that boot that you don't even need to special order. WHOOPS A DAISY.

A truly weird thread in which the OP asks a typically dim question in a typically fussy iGent way. A few posts down Peak and Pine calls us "another, very dark, clothing forum,"! Sounds like something from Gormenghast.
