Great stuff. Thanks for the links.
Thanks Chums. I owe ol' FNB an essay. And I hope to do another short piece in the new year. I think I've discussed on idea with old Tony and the other with Uncle Russ.

I'd love Brother H. to write more...
H. - Is it the 'sickening nature of the Net.' which puts you off? I only ask as that is everybody else's reason just now.

Chum,
I'm not sure the reason. Just needed a break. Other aspects of life intrude. I do try to keep up with this forum and even BBR, which I note from time to time has a good observation or two. I do miss keeping up, however, with all the tom-foolery of the forums. Though I shouldn't be, I'm surprised how desiccated old BBR has become. The ol' breed of troll, which wasn't even really a troll, had an interest in clothing and style and aesthetics. The new breed is an entirely different beast.
Aye, trolls aint what they used to be...
Fuck the real world.
Life is a void.
Fill it with the interweb.
Thanks for combining everything. Perhaps a sticky is warranted?

Wot a good idea!
- And welcome to the forum, Brother Decline & Fall. Post often.
I've just dropped a line to Mr. Jeeves to put 'ol 'Orace up where he belongs on this site: One named by Brownshoe, inspired by the knowledge and diversity of its posters, and kept enjoyable by the good natures of all concerned here.
Gawd bless you all and 'Eaven 'elp us for next year.
- Here we see Manton (Keyboards) and Dopey (Vocals) singing the praises of the mighty FNB crew: We're Number One all over the Internet. And it's Christmas -

I can't believe I spent all that time. It was fun though. I recently moved office. Once I get all me papers out -- I've got some good stuff.
A gratuitous post just to see Mr. 'Orace at the top of the forum.
Chester Barrie. That's a name I seem to remember in connection with my father forty or more years ago.
Hi, I cant seem to open any of the links up on this thread it just comes up 404 not found forum has moved? any help please would be appreciated!
there looks to be some mighty interesting things lurking under those titles. best
Ahhhh - That knackers all of my archive links eveywhere on the forum then!
Bugger!
I've raised this with those who know about these things to see what can be done.
Jim
Can be repaired by putting "forum" between the www and the filmnoirbuff instead of after the .com
Old way:
