Thanks Chums.  I owe ol' FNB an essay.  And I hope to do another short piece in the new year.  I think I've discussed on idea with old Tony and the other with Uncle Russ.

Chum,

I'm not sure the reason.  Just needed a break.  Other aspects of life intrude.  I do try to keep up with this forum and even BBR, which I note from time to time has a good observation or two.   I do miss keeping up, however, with all the tom-foolery of the forums.  Though I shouldn't be, I'm surprised how desiccated old BBR has become.  The ol' breed of troll, which wasn't even really a troll, had an interest in clothing and style and aesthetics.  The new breed is an entirely different beast.

Thanks for combining everything. Perhaps a sticky is warranted?

Wot a good idea!

- And welcome to the forum, Brother Decline & Fall. Post often.

I've just dropped a line to Mr. Jeeves to put 'ol 'Orace up where he belongs on this site: One named by Brownshoe, inspired by the knowledge and diversity of its posters, and kept enjoyable by the good natures of all concerned here.

Gawd bless you all and 'Eaven 'elp us for next year.

I can't believe I spent all that time.  It was fun though.  I recently moved office.  Once I get all me papers out -- I've got some good stuff.

A gratuitous post just to see Mr. 'Orace at the top of the forum.

Re: Horace's Classic Traditional American Style Archive -

Can be repaired by putting "forum" between the www and the filmnoirbuff instead of after the .com

Old way:

http://www.filmnoirbuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=207

New way:

http://www.forums.filmnoirbuff.com/viewtopic.php?id=207
