I never bought their records but they did knock out some great tunes and did Glastonbury, Isle of Wight with Dylan, etc. and then split.
They never cracked America so never made it big financially. Chapman kept going solo until last year. I think he moved to Germany. Great unrecognised hippy band. One time John Peel favourite.
