After my time

I did not expect to find Ray McVay on You Tube. Apparently he used to do those el cheapo cover version LPs you could buy in Woolworths. They could turn their hand to anything.

^The Clash one was before my time, but then in 1989, I got it.

Super rare version of Guns of Navarone.  You Tube has reached the point, the saturation point, where you can generally find what you are looking for. Like this for example:

Re: Groovin' at the I Spot -

I like this the lot, though their late 60s/early 70s fashion style was everything I despised - loon pants and general scruffiness. Family :-

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lYCUQ81vJYw    - Weaver's Answer

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9Has6IS7E8     - No mules fool

I never bought their records but they did knock out some great tunes and did Glastonbury, Isle of Wight with Dylan, etc. and then split.

They never cracked America so never made it big financially. Chapman kept going solo until last year. I think he moved to Germany. Great unrecognised hippy band. One time John Peel favourite.
