I've noticed a common, plaintive angst on several forum. We YANKS are to unsophisticated to appreciate kicking the dane's head and never will be. Forget our immigration l sees ghanian cars with flags honking horns while two central american countries try to forget an idiotic war partly sparked over one game while others celebrate or commiserate. And those horns only date to a precolumbian tradition where the losing teams were sacrificed via obsidian knife. Maybe those ersatz Druids could instill greater effort on the English team? But no, instead the mother country of the game falls back on xenophobic comforts like " Our neighbors use this as an excuse to bash us." Those neighbors were conquered colonies and if you gave them football and english to do the bashing be glad you aren't flashman's inspiration waking up to escape via sewers. People look on our own baseball and hockey with it's tribalism and violence, sigh 'It's only a game.' Sadly, it's not.
All this shit is the reason I stay at home and watch football.
I like all sports...

lf l was at the Girls Ball games, you guys would know about it, l would be the guy with the loudest horn. l would completely drown out everyone else's sound....all you would be able to hear is me blowin' my horn, no shit.
lf l was allowed to my horn freely, l reckon l could blow loud enough to even force the game to be called off. When l blow a big horn l go for the kill mate.

My missus called me an annoying t**t the other day... I almost choked on my vuvuzela.
Continuing the football theme... Italy 1990, Wembley 1996, Rothbury 2010. Whenever Gazza's involved in a shootout, it always ends in tears.

You're bored with them for good reason. There is about as much movement and creativity in that side as as in my over 50 league.
I would rather watch Champions League football than the World Cup these days. The good clubs get much more chance to play together to develop cohesion and the top players have played so many games by the time the World Cup comes along that they need a rest more than they need more games. Of course, to pay the current wages, clubs need to play as many games as they can.
