Your typical iGent worm wants to lobby to get the sartorial equivalent of a "Buggy whip" produced and then rants when it gets pulled. One would assume that the balmoral boot design was pulled because AE saw so much profit cascading in from selling them, that they were frightened. Probably the first time in corporate history a CEO couldn't face success.

Even when the AE CEO states there were no taker for the design, in spite of an AAAC style brain trust guiding him the entire way, the OP is far more excited about the Internetz power of the leetel guy to squeeze an answer out of the big bad CEO.

A bloke wears a pocket square to court when he is the defendant. He got slammed.

Probably came across too smug so the judge took him down a few pegs.
lncredible what these guys do. l don't think a judge would appreciate a defendant wearing a pocket square these days, it could be interpreted as cheeky.

Besides the fact that I'd wear that boot in black (I like the height) with a suit, I've noticed two things about the thread in question that seems to apply to all the clothing forums and it's something I've noticed after reading them for lord help me, about 7 years 'as it been?
People are fucking cheap. Save your fucking pennies, and then buy something. Will Ascot Chang make 1 shirt? $200 is too much for a pair of shoos.
Second is this whole pathetic notion that we're in this sort marketplace democracy and the consumer is the voter and the manufacturer is the politician (or if bothers to soil himself by posting in a forum, the "Statesman!"). All these guys love their little Cliff's notes versions of the free market. And then they can't see why they, the mighty consumers, get ignored. Fuck them.
