The track you linked made me dig out I'm Your Man by Leonard Cohen which got me in the mood for some Gainsbourg. It's funny how the domino brain works.

Serge was the most wonderful creepy letch. So many of his TV performances follow that format. I just think he liked following dancers about. The studio probably told him to stand still but he didn't listen.
