Thanks for that. I know her from her 1960 recording with then husband Charlie Mariano on Nat Hentoff's Candid label. It's nice to have a prod to listen to her solo stuff.

The track you linked made me dig out I'm Your Man by Leonard Cohen which got me in the mood for some Gainsbourg. It's funny how the domino brain works.

Lovely track by the way. The saxophone was beautiful. I'll be digging Morphine for the next few days now. Thanks.

Serge was the most wonderful creepy letch. So many of his TV performances follow that format. I just think he liked following dancers about. The studio probably told him to stand still but he didn't listen.
